Ocean Park is the most western point of Semiahmoo Peninsula, and is bounded by the waters of Boundary and Semiahmoo Bays. It is directly south of Crescent Beach and west of White Rock.
From the 1890’s until World War I, the Ocean Park area was an active logging settlement. In 1926 a community hall was built on donated land. When the great depression of the 1930’s hit, the area offered a better quality of life, with a sustainable economy, and rapid growth over the next two decades brought schools, a community centre, a fire department and even a veteran settlement area.
Today, Ocean Park has a thriving business and shopping centre, with quite a few boutique shops and restaurants. There are four elementary schools and two secondary schools.
This area continues to grow today because it offers a very satisfying lifestyle, mild climate, accessible beaches and a strong sense of local community. Its small town friendliness extends to locals and visitors alike.
